Their innovative design allows for larger sizes that can still achieve higher design pressures. WinGuard Vinyl windows and doors also provide outstanding energy efficiency and can significantly lower cooling and heating bills, especially when paired with Low-E coatings and glass tints. Customization can be achieved through the variety of frame colors, hardware finishes, grid styles, color and patterns offered. It is available in single vent or custom units and offers the option for opening either left or right. Its multi-point locking system provides added strength and protection from intruders. The unobtrusive Nesting handle is easy to operate and will not interfere with your window treatments. Standard hinges are washable for easy cleaning from the inside of the home and can be upgraded to Egress hinges upon request.
The PGT Winguard Aluminum French Door offers the look of traditional wood along with the durability of Aluminum. It is available as a single or double door and features a nine inch bottom rail. Its multi-point steel locking mechanism provides extra strength while its concealed installation screws give it a seamless look. It is prepped for European style hardware and features a unique, continuous gear hinge. Two different sidelite styles are available; full jam to match the door profile and narrow jam with slimmer sides for a wider glass area. Glass options include laminated glass and energy efficient coatings. The French Door 750 is also available in ETERNA™ Finish.
